Mango reduces body fat, plasma glucose and lipids on a high-fat diet

Mango’s have many bioactive compounds, with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Research conducted on mice fed a high fat diet showed that mango prevented an increase in fat mass and improved glucose intolerance by 35%. Also the mango lowered insulin resistance. This research suggests that including mango in a balanced diet may help with weight control.
